Heartache
Heartache
My soul is howling with pain.
My tears are pouring like rain.
Am I going insane?
Can I love again?
Will my heart recover
Now you’ve found another?
I placed it in your care
And you left it there.
Goodbye forever,
Our marriage is over,
My trust is gone,
And my life is done.Photo: Superpimper.com

Why are people so cavalier with one’s emotions? Its so easy for some to move on without a moment’s hesitation or thought for those left hurt in their wake. You are strong – remember that and don’t let anybody tell you any different…
I was absolutely devastated, Lyndatjie. But it’s true, all the hurt makes you stronger.
Very sad, Adee

It was, Halfy, and it took me literally years to come to terms with it.
A good poem, I am glad it’s in the past and I hope you’re happier now.
