CLARITY

CLARITY

Come fly with me
Through the sky with me
And we can see
Ourselves with clarity

Learn to let go
Leave the evil below
Drift with the flow
And help our faith grow

Unload the weight
Of worry and hate
And close the gate
Before it’s too late

Rhyme schemes aaaa, bbbb, cccc. I like to play with different constructions from time to time. Also plan syllabic count very precisely as an added twist.

What a great and “uplifting” poem (no pun intended – or did I) to read this Sabbath day, Dee. For my sake you should probably remind me to close the barn door, and LOCK the gate behind me!

Thanks for adding to my joy – even when you are in the midst of struggling to heal. You always manage to get me thinking and/or smiling! Dear friend – I wish you enough. . .
