I love the pic of the Zebras, very beautiful adee.
Of the whole bunch that I took, this was my favourite too, Hope.
Ooooh . . . I love the top photo best. Zebras rock!
I have never particularly liked zebras, Nancy, but the photo really got to me. I think it is my best so far. They are very attractive, but my experience with them in other situations, they can be quite a pest, ruined by people feeding them.
Super, all that you got there. No 2 – the basketball player and the footballers?
hAHAHA, Col! The zebras look like they are going to scrum or wrestle, especially the back one leaning right into the other.
The baby giraffe was actually with the adult with the lips, but I couldn’t get a shot of them together. Took 2 and in both the baby had a headless neck, lol.
Very nice photos and I can see you are enjoying your new camera. Thank you for visiting my blog. I left you a comment that might be useful. Also, since you are shooting animals at a reserve, I have a post at GWGT, http://gardenwalkgardentalk.com/2012/09/22/how-to-photograph-zoo-animals-its-not-about-looking-cute/
Thank you, Donna (?), Thank you for your reply and visit here too. I will go straight over to your blog. I am home again, and interested in all aspects of photography from people, animals, insects, plants to things. I will appreciate any tips you give me. Thanks again. (Hope I have your name right)
Yes you do and thank you. I hope my posts will help and not be too technical for you to understand since you are relatively new to your camera.
Well, I believe you’re never too old to learn, lol!
Little ones are precious whether they be human or animals. Beautiful photos, Denise. Blessings ~ Maxi
I agree, Maxi. So innocent and free from fear!
Gorgeous photos again, adee. Love that baby ellie…..to cute.
Yes, I love mother and child photo’s of animals. I saw dear little baby warthogs but they were too quick for me to photograph. I was so disappointed – they have lovely tight little curly tails.
Aaaaw…cute little munchies.
gorgeous, esp the top photo… & i can’t help but admire the coat on that mama elephant – lovely rich colour
Yes, Ruth, all the adults’ coats were that lovely colour.- clean-looking.
It is good to see the young ones thriving, at least that means they are procreating and will continue to survive as long as the poachers are held at bay..
That’s very true, Jake.
wow…amazing…cool to see all the shapes and sizes and colors….closest i get to this is the zoo and that is def not the same…
Such imagination and originality, Brian!
gorgeous shots of perfect subjects
Thank you, Amy.
