Death in Disguise / The Other Side of Love

Death in Disguise / The Other Side of Love

Eros walks among us, virile and strong,

Sowing his seed as he goes along.

He plucks pretty flowers on his way

And leaves devastation

For all to see.

He’s not impregnating them with love.

He’s not impregnating them with life.

Death is what remains behind –

Withered leaves, blowing in the wind

Of his thoughtlessness.

  1. And yet with all the knowledge, people still bed one another indiscriminately.

I joined! And battling my way around, lol.

    • That is such good news. I have emailed you Cin’s tips. Otherwise I have found it is trial and error! Email me any questions, but you probably know more than I do, lol. xxx

  2. This is a wonderful piece adee!

  3. This gave me goosebumps! I wish all young people could read this and comprehend the danger. Very good writing!

  4. I know, but I remember thinking that things always happen to ‘other people’ and that’s the problem I think. Other than dragging them to hospices, what can you do to get through to them?
