Music in the Air

The whistling of the wind,
The rustling of the leaves,
The babbling of the stream,
The lapping of the waves,
The singing of the birds,
The humming of the bees,
The chirping of the crickets –
Music in the air,
Nature’s ensemble,
Harmonising, synchronizing –
Music to my ears!

I am a middle-aged South African woman, living in Johannesburg. I began writing poetry towards the end of May 2010. I love animals – sometimes more than people! I am back after a break. Thanks for still being here, if you are! Missed you! xxx

  6. Adee – this has inspired me to do a repost of an old Letterdash piece I did. I will put it up on my blog in a bit.
