Aftermath
Nightmare in the morning,
Children’s voices crying,
Adult voices calling…
,
Thick dusty fog,
Glimpses swept away
By the waves of smog…
,
The earth has shaken,
Nothing is the same,
Buildings have fallen…
,
Footsteps running
This way and that,
Terror and scurrying…
,
Angels of mercy
Arrive at the scene;
Rescue work begins…
.

Thanks Amanda. I’m afraid I couldn’t get it to go the way I wanted it to. Nevermind, one day I’ll give it another try… xxx

Very frightening… All rescue workers in whatever disasters, are really angels to put others’ lives above their own!

I believe so too, Deosatyakam! Man’s thoughtless greed is responsible for more than we realise… 😦

Me too Sidey. It must be really a nightmare! That’s why I wrote it from an onlooker’s point of view…
