Welcome Summer Rain
A Haiku

Welcome summer rain,

Invigorating shower,

Giving life power.

The grass has revived,

Many flowers have flourished

And our crops will thrive.

  2. Lovely adeeyoyo 🙂 – evokes that lovely fresh smell of summer rain. We are having exactly the same here today and the other half swears that the grass has already grown since he mowed it yesterday …

  4. I swear our weeds are growing quicker than the grass and flowers with all our rain!

    • That is so nice to hear, Amanda. Our rainfall so far has been very little – two storms last week and a total of about 10 drops, lol! Then another storm yesterday afternoon and, maybe, 15 drops… I hope things are going well with you – we’ve been missing your beautiful poems… Much love xxx

  8. I love the feeling of renewal your poem helps to evoke. You chose a terrific image to go along with it too!
