I like “usually”. In my papers I always cover by employing such great phrases as: 1. there is evidence to support….2. It is not unreasonable to conclude…..3. some scholars have suggested….4. Evidence exists to…..5. While continued research is suggested…..6. Many people believe…..7. There may exist some possibility…..8. A majority present that…. 9. It has been asserted and so on. Allows one the be academic accurate and disingenuous at the same time.
