LITTLE FRITZ

Little Fritz

LITTLE FRITZ

Little curly cheeky rascal

Mop of mischief in a capsule

Glossy fur and eyes so bright

Dancing ‘round with great delight

Eyes intense with expectation

Gaze at me in anticipation

You could always read my mind

And in your haste leave me behind

I am a middle-aged South African woman, living in Johannesburg. I began writing poetry towards the end of May 2010. I love animals – sometimes more than people!

    • He is just like a mischievous little boy… Peter Pan – I don’t think he will ever grow up! I’m so glad my friend Mary is taking care of him, apparently he gets on very well with her rather staid little girl-dog!
