I write what I feel…

Eyes Are All

Eyes Are All

Eyes are all
Mirrors of the soul
Guilt or innocence
Joy or sorrow
Weeping tears of hope
For tomorrow…

  5. Great Adee…I always look at eyes when I meet someone…they have to smile!

  6. So true. Eyes are also the poet’s friend. So many poems have been written on the messages of they eyes. We depend on them to see and to recognize those we know. Most of the brain’s facial recognition is focused on and around the eyes. They will never lose their allure.

  7. You can tell a lot from a person’s eyes, and even with animals. Eyes can speak volumes; they are truly the mirror to the soul.

  8. Fantastic. When people smile and the smile doesn’t reach their eyes I worry. I don’t think you can trust people like that. Great poem!

  9. It is perhaps easy to contain one’s emotion but it is hard to conceal it without spilling through the eyes.

    Good write Denise
