I write what I feel…

Shades and Shadows

In the blackest black of night

Sea and sky are joined as one

With no horizon, no decisive line

Of separation.

So if, in life, we cross into the night,

Stray beyond the edge of light,

And, excepting we atone, we remain

Sullied by sin.

I am a middle-aged South African woman, living in Johannesburg. I began writing poetry towards the end of May 2010. I love animals – sometimes more than people! I am back after a break. Thanks for still being here, if you are! Missed you! xxx

  3. So many consider themselves “saved” by a ritual or event. It is not an event, it is a process and it is conditional on atonement and a recommitment to live “in Christ”
