I write what I feel…

Star Surround

On a moonless night,

With only stars for light,

The view at the lake

Was great – make no mistake!

From the stars overhead

To the stars at my feet,

Reflected in the deep,

I stood alone in star-filled space!

  1. Listen, adee, can you hear the birdies waking up? 🙂

  2. As above . . . the glow below.

    Beautiful. 😀

  3. What a wonderful image you have painted, Denise.
    I am standing there!

  4. Wow, I can almost see you as the only point of separation from sky and reflection…and feel it, as if it were me. Great projection.
    God Bless You

  5. Your lovely poem reminds me of one of the very best experiences of my life, Adeeyoyo – sleeping tentless around a campfire in the middle of the Sinai Desert – our guide called it the “hotel of a million stars” – a vast understatement 🙂

    • Wow, Bb, that must have been GREAT! Especially when, out in the country, many, many more stars are clearly visible. That is what I loved about camping (with tents, lol)!

  6. WoW! Beautiful experience. So thrilling to read. You are blessed, denise!

  7. nice…love to be under the blanket of night with all the stars cast across in their twinkle…lovely adee….

  8. Lovely – there’s something so awe inspiring about a night where stars abound, visibly. I grew up in the country and know of what I speak (although we didn’t have a lake there – how beautiful that must have been!)

Stars Surround is the perfect title…
