.
Feel the blood flow
Through our veins
As the river runs
Through the lands
.
Nurturing beasts
And Mother Earth
Sustaining life
And enabling birth
.
Life-giving liquid
Unequalled, unparalleled
More precious than gold
Our future currency?

To answer your question, Denise:-
If you live in the Sahara or the kalahari, – YES
If you live in Bangladesh, NO
In Britain, UNLIKELY.
What is needed is a Global Water Grid, Drain Bangladesh and grow crops in the African deserts.
How about that for a solution.
Better than wasting money on space exploration!

I thought by now there would be serious attempts to reclaim some portions of the deserts. I know years ago they were having success in Israel and thought at the time that it would be a good beginning… I hate the way people are dying and money is wasted…

Yeah, I think they just sent an expedition of some sort to the moon to dig into it and see what’s there??? Aren’t they the same people who tell us everything there seems to be known about what’s inside of Planets thousands of light years away, and they have to drill a hole in the moon to find what’s there? I’m pretty sure they’re not drilling for water. Anyway…

It is likely to become the scarcest resource, Adeeyoyo – the world worries about oil but without water, there can be no oil

yes, water is going to be the future currency. In a very short time, countries will be more involved in the fight for water, more than petrol. A good subject Denise.
