Freedom in a Bubble

.

I am in a bubble

Floating in the air,

Drifting in the breeze

To I know not where.

Wonderfully weightless,

Up and up I fly,

Higher and higher

In a cloudless sky.

Oh what a feeling

Of freedom at last –

No more looking back

To the prison of my past.

  1. The past can be a prison but we can stand taller by standing on the broken blocks to reach to put new ones in place.

  2. I love this, Denise ~ both the poem and the pic! When we let go the past . . . we have two hands available to embrace the present.

  12. To feel free, one must break through of the past, stop thinking of the future and live in the present.
