I am a middle-aged South African woman, living in Johannesburg. I began writing poetry towards the end of May 2010. I love animals – sometimes more than people! I am back after a break. Thanks for still being here, if you are! Missed you! xxx

I don’t know who has it the worst, Col. You have the heat and humidity and we have the dry, searing heat. Although it has been quite humid here with the rain storms we’ve been having. I envy you the sea though… Everything of the best to you and your family for Christmas and the new year.

That would be wonderful, Bb… but I don’t let myself even think about it (not often, anyway). I know it has happened to put me exactly where I am and all I can do is try to make the very best of it. Thank you for the good wishes and I return them to you a hundredfold for blessings and a great new year. ♥
