Sea Shore
.
As I pass along the sea shore of life
And navigate barriers along my path
The soles of my feet are battered and bruised
By rocks and pebbles randomly strewn
.
But when I reach the soft silken sand
Where waves lap gently and sun shines softly
My body is healed in the light of His love
And my soul is again made whole
.

I know, Ben, she’s a ‘natural’! I have never seen a bad photo from Gran, she has a brilliant eye!

Sometimes the trials of life leave their bruises upon us.. but when we reach that ‘soft silken sand’… ahhhh.. there is peace.
Beautiful!

This is the first of your posts that I have read. Beautiful! I’ve been stepping on quite a few pebbles lately… I think I’ll take a walk outside.

Nature is great for recharging, Brian. And, of course, because I grew up at the sea, to me the seaside is best!

As they say “life is no day at the beach” but it is good to know that He is our lifeguard. Nice poem and pics Denise.
