I am a middle-aged South African woman, living in Johannesburg. I began writing poetry towards the end of May 2010. I love animals – sometimes more than people! I am back after a break. Thanks for still being here, if you are! Missed you! xxx
I think everything in life is a circle, Inzwakazi. The earth circles the sun. The moon circles the earth. The seasons come over and over again in turn, as do day and night, life and death…
“If you think you can have good without evil,
right without wrong, order without chaos,
you understand nothing
about the laws of the universe.
You cannot have Heaven without Earth.”
Wow!!! I like that and I think balance throughout everything is necessary – for now anyway, but it needs a lot of thought… would Earth then equate with Hell? There are some who think that…

Awww, so sad, the little sunflower – but her seeds make sure she lives again to see another sun!

Yes, Barb, seeds for propagation sounds much nicer than pot pourri, doesn’t it.

Is it possible that what gives us life could be the same thing that takes it away from us?

Sounds similar to the human body … as it withers on the vine of life.

It appears to be, Nancy. But in a circle who can tell who’s leading whom? 🙂

Yes, it’s true if we live by the sword we die by the sword…But, isn’t it beautiful knowing that when we die by the sun…we can live forever…in the Son.

Strangely enough, I read this morning
“If you think you can have good without evil,
right without wrong, order without chaos,
you understand nothing
about the laws of the universe.
You cannot have Heaven without Earth.”
