I write what I feel…

Promises

.

Clouds as light as air

Sail across the sky,

Voyagers of discovery

As in years gone by.

.

Whispers of pink appear,

Murmurs of lilac too,

Gold and silver highlights,

Lowlights of purplish-blue.

.

Farewell you travellers

Way up on high, adieu;

I wish you a safe journey,

As you fade into the blue.

.

NB – One of my favourite poets is back here.  Enjoy!

    • Thank you, Paul. Unfortunately frequent flyer credits are only accepted on the cumulonimbus line which will be in operation during the summer months.

  19. The colors the eternal travellers assume, and paint in the minds of onlookers are spectral. They are the visible DNA of our ephemeral existence. They move across the sky but take us along with them to our fancy lands.
    Congrats Denise.
