You have freed my psyche from the bindings
from restraints that held it back
i can feel the thrill of pleasure
welling up to overflow
within my soul

I am a middle-aged South African woman, living in Johannesburg. I began writing poetry towards the end of May 2010. I love animals – sometimes more than people! I am back after a break. Thanks for still being here, if you are! Missed you! xxx

You have to learn to forget just wonderful this kind of thing is when you lose it, how powerful, how wonderful, how just RIGHT everything is. But now you can let yourself remember how it feels. Because you can’t help it anyway. I am so happy to be able to see this happening for you. A bit of it is rubbing off on me too through you troubling to share it so skillfully. Thank you.

Oh Ben, you are right, of course and I am so glad it is rubbing off on you… Whether it lasts or not it is wonderful to experience it again out of the blue! 🙂
