The Wind

.

Lying on the silky *strand

A study in immobility

I feel the warm wind

Caressing me

Polishing my skin

With fine grains of sand

And the softest spray of sea

    • Ah yes, Brian, it is. I could sit or lie on the beach for hours, just dreaming. I toyed between this title and The Rock. Now I think I prefer the latter.

  7. You presented a lovely picture Denise.

My mind goes back to the university days when I idly spent some evenings on the beach hanging my legs to the lapping waves on a rock, watching people play in sand with children forgetting their age, till the lighthouse made circles above my head to indicate it is time for dinner at the hostel.

Once you miss your sea, perhaps, you miss it forever.
