Copy Cats (a rap poem)

Copy cats emulate
dancing jubilation
holding you in high regard
showing approbation
idolise, venerate
muddy feet of clay
confusticate your nemesis
a favour to repay
exposed at last
disclosed, unmasked
trapped like a rat
living on the fat
dripping off the roast
and having the most
power in the land
or so we understand…

    • Yay! Thank you Nic! I really like the rhythm, but the subject matter has to also suit it, hey? I think it may sound ridiculous to rap a romantic subject, haha. ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. i dunno i have heard some romantic raps, its all in the beat you put behind it…most raps have a very aggressive beat..you just have to slow it down…

  8. Denise, my mind is going through summersaults, trying to imagine you singing with a reversed golf cap, and all the street dancing!
    Nicely done, Denise.
