En-Lightened
.
The sky lightened through the trees,
My spirit lifted by degrees,
The birdsong added to the mood
And every thing in the world was good.
The beauty in the world around
Reflected Your magnificence
And suddenly it all made sense.

Denise, I love this. After a morning when I had to rise in the dark at 4am having overslept for an hour. Then to drive at lawbreaking speeds, through empty streets, to the radio station where I was to help, and then to battle the airwaves for contacts as the sun rose. Your morning was eminently better.
Mine was exciting, though!

Thanks so much for all your comments. I am glad I’m not alone in having these experiences! Sorry that I haven’t been communicating… I hope to be back writing soon, maybe not as prolifically as before though. Reading a lot and playing Scrabble on fb where I’ve discovered I’m pretty useless, lol! You’re all welcome to join in. ♥
