I write what I feel…

Music for the Soul

Laid back, dimmed lights ~

No brights ~ warm room

Strummmming of the strings

Mellllow tone of the trombone

TiCkle and tiNkle of piano keys

Melding in a sad, forlorn form

I am a middle-aged South African woman, living in Johannesburg. I began writing poetry towards the end of May 2010. I love animals – sometimes more than people! I am back after a break. Thanks for still being here, if you are! Missed you! xxx

  3. “… and that’s why they call it the blues…”

  4. Making music is so evocative, whether strings, wind or percussion.

  5. The power of music in your poem.

  6. I see that you have been writing since 2010. Looks like you fast developed your own style. Well done.

    • Thank you for your very kind comment, Jamie. I don’t know about style ~ I am an ignoramus about poetry styles I just WRITE what feels RIGHT to me.
