Soul Matters
.
From when we are born we begin to die
This is a fact no-one can deny
This earthly husk starts to decay
Over which we have little sway
But spirit is eternal, a part of God
A treasure we hold gently in our hearts
We can ignore, pretend not to hear
His call for us to understand
As He reaches out His helping hand
To feed and nurture this link to Him
To bind us, hold us and enfold us
That when the turmoil of this world is done
We may be together all as One.
