I write what I feel…

Post No. 930

25 July 2016

Distant thunder in the north

Mumbling, grumbling…

Wind trumpeting tantrums

Like an actor on the stage,

Calm then rage,

A horse, a horse…

Fetlocks blowing,

Manes aflowing…

The world struggles ‘tween good and evil;

Cloud covers our eyes,

Our ears cannot hear

And nature pleads for calming seas

While rain pisses down on nature’s pleas.

I am a middle-aged South African woman, living in Johannesburg. I began writing poetry towards the end of May 2010. I love animals – sometimes more than people! I am back after a break. Thanks for still being here, if you are! Missed you! xxx

  2. sums up weather and world very nicely indeed

  3. we have had quite the powerful storms the last couple days. flooding, lightning strokes every 20 minutes.
its crazy. much like the state of our world. but this is to be expected.

it will only get darker before the light.

  4. Challenges surround us . Pray we see the truth and for His guidance.
