It takes a certain kind of person
To work for the State.
He likes to lay down the law
And, what’s more, be in a position
To block any opposition.
Quite unable to visualise
With his own eyes
Any other point of view.
He is both blind and stubborn
As a mule; can’t see he’s a fool
Because, in the final analysis,
He can override any and all.
Hurrah, the game is done –
He thinks he’s won!
While I re-boot my brain to try again…
