Misty
I awoke to the mist…
Like a flimsy veil it was,
Covering the scene gently,
Muting the sounds subtly.
Faded colours,
Unclear shapes,
Another world,
I thought…
A world twixt this one and the next,
A glimpse of ethereal beauty,
Pastel sunlight, palest day,
Reflecting peace and serenity.
