RETIREMENT HOME # 1
The flowers are bright and the grass is green,
I smile to myself when
I see little old ladies and little old men
Gather on their porches viewing the scene.
RETIREMENT HOME # 2
In the morning gloom
Of the sitting room
The old ladies sit dressed
In their Sunday best
Waiting… for what?
They know not.
