Thoughts flicker,
Feelings flitter,
Words waver,
Stutter, splutter,
Glimmer, glint,
Can’t quite put your finger on’t,
Blind man,
Just out of reach,
On the tip of your tongue
What’s the word…?
What word?

That has made me realise that every cell in our bodies has memories, Sidey. Even our tongues. 😀

I love these first thing in the morning… the flitting and fluttering of these words are so marvelous… just rolls off the tongue…

Perhaps holding on to youth may be appropriate Denise!
I’m not on the edge of reason yet, but often I cannot remember words for this and that in the middle of a conversation!
A very gritty poem, though, and perceptive too.

A problem of aging. John. Almost everyone seems to have it happen, some more than others. Maybe it can also be put down to pressure, I don’t know.
