Life and Death
Life and Death are conceived with us
And accompany us through birth.
Life is the stronger of the two,
But Death slowly sucks her strength away
Until he is victorious.
The positive and the negative
Are usually in balance
Until, with age, a flaw appears
When Death, made bold by Life’s decline,
Intensifies his hold.

That is brilliant… we start dieing the minute we are born – that is a line that always makes me wonder whether we know just how precious each minute is? I loved this.

Thanks so much, Lyndatjie! Yes, I really wish we were able to edit our comments. I’ve seen the facility on a couple of sites only.
