Just in case anyone’s interested –
The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2011 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
The concert hall at the Syndey Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 28,000 times in 2011. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 10 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

They don’t mean anything to me, Barb, but thanks! 🙂
Each month I have been trying to outdo the previous month’s stats. That’s all I really look at from week to week.

Well done Denise. A great report, and “curly bits” was definitely outstanding!
Your expressive poetry is always worth a visit.
Congratulations

Thank you so much, Jeannie, for such a nice compliment! I have been considering you a wonderful example to me. I have been living on my own since my divorce (around 25 years ago). Once was enough for me although I think I could be tempted now, perhaps.

I would never have dreamt it would be so popular, Nancy! But I do love them. I saw a wonderful TV programme once about the orphan elephants in India. I wish I did rock, lol! Thanks so much for saying so!

Thanks, Bb. I just try to make each month’s stats a bit better than the previous one. Doesn’t always work out though! I don’t write to be read. It is mostly to get things off my chest and a line or two will haunt me until I write them into a post.
