SANITY

(After watching The Aviator…)

Am I sane…
because i say so,
or you…
who do not know
…me?

.

If only life were as neat

as the closing chapters in a book,

but entrails creep,

seep through scars unhealed,

carry forth unfinished mortal wounds

which stain the lenses of my eyes

to colour my vision

and only You can heal my sight ~

make me fit to fight

for what is right.
