Mountains

Mountains, mountains,
To the back, to the sides
And to the front of me;
Higher and higher
Like giant stepping stones,
Obstacles to overcome –
The mountains of my life;
Each one higher than the last,
Steeper than the past.
Lift me up, O Lord,
Enable me to get by;
Let me complete the course
And, like the mountains,
Touch the sky.

    You Nailed this to the Wall, as the Lord Jesus was Nailed to the Cross…And it shoots through those who have an ear to hear…like streaks of Golden Lightning…and bounces off those who don’t… like a flimsy rubber ball…Keep Crying out …loudly..He Hears…and He answers…

      I know He hears and answers. I have been in the depths of despair and He answered me. My faith flags from time to time which is so hard for me to bear when I want it to be strong all the time… God’s Blessings on you Paul.

    Oh yeah we all get there…and He sometimes PUTS us there…or allows us to put ourselves there: Re-read psalm 107…and then you could read my song Lyrics again…(God’s Proverbial Hickory Stick) Like Prego…it’s in there…

    I love how you gradually went form observing nature to talking to God and then tying it all back together. God is in everything. In our actions as much as the nature that surrounds us. It was a really nice read.
