.
Give me a big bouquet of bubbles
Their beauty shining in the sun
I know one cannot own –
And beauty stands alone,
Belongs to everyone.
Midas couldn’t have been happier
With all his gold,
Nor Croesus with all his wealth
Than am I in my castle in the sky.

Just how flimsy beauty can be, but yet mountainous vistas have such beauty as well.

Very, very nice! I love the ending…I may just have to steal it. It’s too good for just one poem, don’t you think?

Thank you, John. It is yours to take, after all we, most of us, build our castles in the air…

Denise, In Andalusia a few weeks ago there was a young woman. She had two cane sticks and a rope loop between. She was dipping into a bath of liquid and drawing out bubbles in the air. But the bubbles were about 2 or 3 feet across! What a sight!

Thanks, John. I watched a video some time ago just as you described, but can’t remember where I saw it. The above link was all I could come up with.
